AUDIT YOUR HABITS – A QUARTERLY IFA-INSPIRED CHECKLIST

Why Habits Need a Regular Check-Up
Habits are the building blocks of character (Ìwà). They shape our daily lives more than willpower or big goals ever could. But here’s the truth: even strong habits slip without review.
That’s why a habit audit matters. Just like a financial audit reveals spending patterns, an Ifa-inspired habit audit shows where your speech, thought, and action align — and where they drift.
This quarterly practice allows you to reflect, repair, and reset before small slips become major setbacks.
Ifa’s Lesson: Repair, Don’t Abandon
In Ifa, the principle of ìmúlára (repair) teaches us that mistakes are not final. When habits falter, the solution is not to quit, but to reset.
An audit isn’t about judgment — it’s about awareness. It helps you see:
- Where you stayed consistent (celebrate these wins).
- Where you drifted (repair without guilt).
- What adjustments are needed for the next quarter.

The Quarterly Ifa-Inspired Habit Audit Checklist
1. Review Your Core Habits (Speech, Thought, Action)
- Speech: Did my words reflect honesty, encouragement, and alignment?
- Thought: Did my mindset lean toward patience, gratitude, and discipline?
- Action: Did my daily routines support my long-term goals?
2. Track What Worked
List 3 habits you maintained consistently. Example: morning gratitude, financial tracking, journaling.
3. Identify Drift Without Judgment
Where did discipline slip? Did motivation fade? Note patterns (time of day, stress, environment).
4. Recommit with Repair
Pick one or two habits to restart immediately. Keep it simple and repeatable.
5. Set Quarterly Intentions
What character traits (Ìwà) do you want to embody in the next 90 days? Align habits to those traits.

Journaling Prompts for Habit Audits
- Which habit brought me the most peace or growth this quarter?
- Where did I drift, and what triggered it?
- What small repair can I make today to restart?
- Which one habit, if mastered, would transform my next 90 days?
Stay Consistent Through Awareness
Quarterly audits aren’t about perfection. They are about awareness, repair, and renewed alignment. Ifa teaches that destiny unfolds through repeated action — and action is sustained by reflection.
This quarter, ask yourself: Which habits will I repair, and which new ones will I embody, to align my character with my highest path?
